The full process

Impossible to misunderstand.

From your first estimate to getting your collateral back — here's exactly what happens at every step, including where your item actually sits while Colatr holds it.

Six steps

From estimate to repayment.

01

Tell us about your asset

Chat with our valuation assistant about your phone, accessory, or vehicle — brand, model, age, condition.

COLATR · STEP 01
02

Get an indicative estimate

We give you an estimated collateral value range. This is a guide only, not a guaranteed offer.

COLATR · STEP 02
03

Verification

Bring the asset and a valid ID (Ghana Card, passport, or driver's licence) for physical inspection and ownership verification.

COLATR · STEP 03
04

Receive your loan

If approved, sign your Credit Agreement and Disclosure Statement, and receive your agreed loan amount.

COLATR · STEP 04
05

Repay

Repay according to your agreement — in person, via mobile money, or online through your account.

COLATR · STEP 05
06

Get your asset back

Once your loan is fully repaid, your collateral is released back to you.

COLATR · STEP 06
Where's my collateral?

What happens to your item while we hold it.

🔒
